DIRECTOR POSITION:
LITTLE FRIENDS PRESCHOOL
Calendar Period: August 1 through May 31sth
Position Information: Full time, Monday- Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM (may vary)
Starting Salary: $42,000 per year.

Our objective is to provide a solid and spiritual foundation for preschool children to lead an enriched life through diverse educational experiences and modeling Christ’s love.
Duties: Include, but are not limited to:
· Defining the policies of admission, attendance, tuition, and educational goals.
· Prepares periodic reports required by the state.
· Plans and implements the annual calendar for the school.
· Supervises and evaluates staff.
· Class participation as LeadTeacher for Tuesday/Thursday classes as needed.
· Prepares monthly report for LFP Board on financial budgetary needs, student activities, personnel, maintenance, and communications with state and local agencies.
· Staff responsibilities include publishing of job descriptions, staff handbook, selection of staff members, regular staff meetings, assisting career growth and development opportunities, evaluation of staff and program and maintenance of personnel records.
· Plan and arrange for required annual staff training according to KDHE Childcare Regulations and other extracurricular staff activities.
· Ensure all staff are trained in emergency policies and procedures.
· Work with Treasurer to record tuition payments, bills, deposits, and purchases.
· Incumbent must use a variety of communication media and software, i.e., computer knowledge (ie Facebook, ClassTag, etc) and other school-related documents.
· Respond to and send messages, letters to parents, etc. electronically through a variety of (email, text, etc.)
Education and Experience: A degree in Early Childhood Education and/or a degree in Elementary Education withexperience in teaching at the Primary Level and/or substantial experience in a preschool environment. A photocopy of all Official college/university transcripts (front and back) from an accredited post-secondary institution must be submitted. This also includes any additional courses currently in progress.
